♥ The freedom i've always wanted

disappeared for quite a period of time so i m back to blog b4 my blog starts to rot...=p wondering where i went during this period of time? actually i went on a hols trip to china...visited different parts of china like shanghai, suzhou, nanjing, hangzhou and wuxi...the trip was really fun and educational except for the mere fact that we haf to change hotels daily b4 we finally settled down for the last 3 nites...apart from that i think the only thing i can complain next is the flight, which i feel super uncomfortable sleeping in due to the seat...hai~ shldnt complain too much ya? hee=)

24th Nov--the day i was preparing to leave shanghai
i was sick tt day so didnt actually went out so no choice but to stay @ home...in the end i started to bake cookies which turned out to be quite sweet...but it was edible okay...can ask all those hu had tried them, which includes amz, my sis and me! haha=D i made the cookies for ishi's bdae and the rest i made was for amz as my farewell gift...after baking them, i went to do ishi's bdae present....den met up with minsi and chan to pass them the cookies and amz fotos...minsi oso gave us her mum's chestnut kueh to try...thankie! after that we chatted for some time while waiting for guiliu(my senior) to pass her ishi's bdae present...must thank her a million times for doing me such a great favour...den all of us returned home coz i haf yet to pack my luggage, and it was around 8.15 when i started packing and my family was supposed to leave for airport at 10.30,...hahax...dis is the first time i felt so last min....
reached airport and den checked in and we waited till 12.30...

25th Nov---the day i left s'pore
and the moment has arrived! haha...so i boarded the plane and sat in dere for 5hrs b4 we reached shanghai's pudong airport...it was around 6plus and i wasnt feeling well den...but the whole tour proceeded to sit the maglev's train(bullet train) which travelled @ a speed of 310km/h and reached another destination which was 30km away in around 7min....=) den went to the bund where we admired the scenic views of shanghai's huangpu river...after which we proceeded to cheng2huang2 temple to haf our breakfast and did some shopping dere too...and i felt better after that! ^_^ after tt went for early lunch b4 we left for suzhou which was around 2hrs journey? in suzhou, we visited wangshiyuan(an official's home back in the past), a place with lots of red latterns, a temple aka han2shan1si4 and den a street to take pix...

26th Nov---the second day
went to the silk factory and my dad bought 4 pillows for himself, my 2 grandmas and my mum which has a special remedy to cure headaches and to reduce pimples...haha=p after that we left suzhou and went to wu1zhen4 which we walked around and den took a boat back to the entrance...den we took bus to hangzhou which was oso hrs away...in hangzhou, we visited westlake(xi1hu2)--the lake where the long bridge lies and it is the bridge where the story of liangshanbo and zhuyintai originated...we oso saw lei2feng1ta3 where the white snake was trapped under...after dinner we went to watch a play which oso marks the end of the day...

27th Nov---the third day
went to take a ship tour around westlake and den went to the pond with lots of fishes and a park with lots of peacocks...den we proceeded to a tea plantation and my dad bought a few bottles of tea leaves dere...after which we went to another place with a golden cow and a statue of a person called zhangshun from shuihuzhuan where we took fotos again...=) after tt we went for shopping and den returned to the hotel...

28th Nov---the fourth day
early in the morning, we left for nanjing...and in nanjing, we went to a lake called xuan2wu3hu2(biggest lake in nanjing) to take fotos...after tt, we visited places like chang2jiang1's long bridge which was the world's longest bridge with two components--one for cars and another for trains...besides tt we went to zhonghuamen which is a place with great walls used as a barrier to block off invasion in the past and it is still very spectacular...up next was the jade factory which i was least interested in coz i dun really fancy jade... *frowns* after nanjing, we left for our next destination---wu2xi1 when we reached wuxi, it was already 5plus so just went to another lake called tai4hu2 where another story lies---xi1shi1 and fan4li2 after that, we just went for dinner, and another day has just passed...

29th Nov---the fifth day
we travelled to a pearl factory where my dad and mum bought tonnes of stuff like pearl powder, pearl necklace and pearl cream...after which, we proceeded to a teapot shop where my mum bought 3teamugs...the demonstrator was super entertaining, coz he can make the teapot stopped pouring out any water by pressing the 'stop' button....i just the teapots super kawaii....=D last but nt least, we went to san1guo2cheng2 with caocao's fleet, liubei's marriage chamber and oso his house...
and all these marked the end of our long hours of travelling coz we are returning to the place we initially were---shanghai!

30th Nov---the sixth day
we went to 7pu3lu4 where alot of cheap clothings but a pity was tt they are all WINTER CLOTHES! argrr....den we went to a waxstatue gallery where there are alot of wax figures like bill gates, andy lau, chenglong, chenhuilin, jay, beckham, tom cruise and many others...i was actually very excited at first so i started taking pix with the figures but my dad dropped the cam and the cam was spoilt...so in the end i very no mood and i ended up taking fotos with my lousy hp....hai! we left the gallery and went to nanjing road for shopping later on....didnt buy any stuff except for food...=x

1st Dec---the 'free n easy' seventh day
it was a day where we can just go explore the different parts of shanghai on our own...so my parents bought us to chenghuang temple where i bought all the souvenirs dere coz dere are lots of food! and i loved the small xiaolongbao...
yumyum! after all the shopping we went to 7pulu and nanjing road...had our lunch and nanjing road and we ate ajisen, it was very cheap around 4plus for a big bowl of noodles...after tt i bought wukequn's cd @ nanjing road...after which we just bought some bread from breadtalk back to hotel since we were quite tired after one day of shopping...=P

2nd Dec---the last day in shanghai=(
went to shop @ the shopping area near our hotel...and i bought the whole set of death note comic bks at a book stall on our way back to our hotel! so happy=) the shopping area was quite big and our flight being the latest, we had to walk for 8hrs b4 we leave for the airport and truthfully it was a torture coz we are simply forced to shop! haix...i saw shoes with SHE as their models! the brand was 'daphne', the shoes are really nice but it was just too exp...so had to gif it up, sobsob....after all the windowshopping, we went for a steamboat! ate for around 1hr plus and i felt bloated after that...hee=x so we slowly walked around b4 returning to hotel to rest @ the lobby...so lang2bei4 rite? around 7.30, ppl from our tour started returning from their shopping spree and we left for the airport....den we waited till 10.20 before boarding the plane...the plane took off at 11 and we touched down @ 5plus the next day...ahha! i reached home....

sorry for the super long post! coz dere are simply too much stuff to write...=x but hope those reading my blog dun fall asleep k? ps ps....
