the new year has just begun and events that took place in 2009 are now part of history to most, if not all of us. a new year marks a new beginning or a new chapter in life. the happiness and the sorrows that are just part and parcel of our lives, are somehow beyond our control. what matters most is to learn to take things in our stride, continue to work hard and MOVE ON with life! just like the saying goes..."always look on the bright side of life" ya? =)
well, just like any balanced equations, u gain something and u lose another in life, that's how equilibrium works out to be. but since it's the new year, let's reminisce the past by looking at the gains for the year, 2009!
1) 一段‘失而复得’的友情
有些事情真的很难放下，尤其是一段感情。可是为了一段感情而赔上一个很要好的朋友也太笨了！虽然最后我们彼此都被伤过，可是我很开心，因为我们的坦诚又让彼此的友情更坚固了一些。Roomie, I am glad we became what we were before you were with him. I am happy that u found ur own happiness and please promise me that u guys will treasure each other and 永远幸福 ok?
2) the lovely people in elders (u guys noe hu u are! *winks*)
i didn't expect myself to become such good friends with U all! all the sharing/complaining and listening to my whining from acad stuff to elders stuff to personal feelings and thoughts even when we knew each other barely for a year? i guess that's one of my biggest take-away for the year!! A bunch of true friends whom i can confide in and trust at all times. *muacks*
认识你们，我真的好幸福哦！愿我们的友谊能永远永远一直走下去！
3) 永远在我身边的老朋友！
我们的友情又走过一年了。我知道维持一段感情的辛苦，要不是彼此的付出，我们的友情不可能那么长久。谢谢你，永远不离不弃地在我身边鼓励我，让我更有勇气地走下去。谢谢你奶妈，妈妈，干妈，永远想着我们的'小吴'family！还有我的‘小长老’(always there to nag me and gossip with me) 和陪我走过7年的AMZ!!! =D plus people whom i very seldom contact but i know they are always there when i needed them! (misses evelyn, chuan han, wanxin, yvonne, yilin, amerlyn, shuhui...)
